  I got toffee everywhere once trying to make ‘cinder toffee’, the stuff in the middle of ‘Crunchie’ chocolate bars. You get syrup very hot and then add powder and it bubbles up, unfortunately I didn’t have a big enough container and it spilled out everywhere. I was trying to turn the toffee into some clever foam but really just made the lab sticky for weeks!
