      Flowers attract insects (such as bees) and some birds (such as humming birds) to transfer pollen between then. This pollen then fertilizes the flowers and they can then transform into fruit for us to eat but also the fruit then has the seeds which can then grown into new plants. Without the flowers you wouldn’t have the pollen, therefore you wouldn’t get any new plants.

      That’s a great answer for the most important things plants do.
      Another thing that some plants help with is finding new medicines, we can test bits and sometimes the plant actually makes medicines that help make people better.
