At BASF we make more than 8000 different products that are used in almost everything we might come across in our daily lives, there are so many different examples, but almost everything you touch in a typical day will have some input from BASF.
A few examples, the mattress on your bed when you woke up today will contain foams, water is cleaned and purified using chemicals, your toothpaste will contain some polymers, food packaging may use printing inks, cars use plastics inside, the car paint will contain pigments. If you ate a breakfast cereal, almost certainly the farmer will have used some BASF materials to make sure his crop was protected and gave a good yield. The possibilities are literally endless, that is what makes my job so interesting!!!
