I think it was my enthusiasm for knowing what is happening in the outdoor world around me and my passion for nature and animals. I used to really like going to the museum when I was younger and learning about various animals (extinct and alive) and what they could do and their roles in the ecosystem. When I was really young my Grandma got me a microscope set too, so I used to spend a lot of time digging up and catching insects in the garden!

My parents would take me to science activities and I would watch science shows, however, I got the most interested in science in high school when I found the subject really interesting as it explained the world around us.

When I was 17 I had chemistry teachers that were really cool and I thought what they were teaching me was really interesting and so I decided to do chemistry at University. After that I am now doing a second degree looking at polymers because I enjoyed doing science so much 🙂
