I never really knew what I wanted to do in Primary School, but then in High School I fell in love with both science and music. I knew I wanted to do one of those, and I was better at Chemistry than anything else. Because I was better at it, I enjoyed it more and so that’s why I chose to do it at University.

I wasn’t really sure! I used to really like acting and be in the drama and poetry group in primary school. But I was also part of the gardening club – so I guess I was always interested in what was on plants or eating them, and that was mainly insects. I think in secondary school was when I was really interested in science, mostly because it explained why the world functioned the way it did.
