I always wanted to know why things worked, but I wanted to fly helicopters and planes when I was a child; when I was 13 I started to get interested in doing science but didn’t know what job I wanted.

Yes! I have always loved science and nature, I love finding out how the world works and since I knew science was a job I have always wanted to do it!

I always wanted to solve problems and help people so I first thought I would be a detective as a child. When I got to secondary school I wanted to be a forensic scientist. It is only when I got to university that I decided to be come a research scientist.
